Stand up against summit of far right in Prague

Hiermit teilen wir den Aufruf der Gruppe Initiativa Ne Rasismu

Against the politics of fear: Stand up against summit of far right

Prague will witness a gathering of the representatives of the Europe of nations and freedom (ENF) fraction, which regroups the right-wing populist parties in the European parliament on 15th and 16th of December. This grouping is constituted, among others, by the french National front (FN), the dutch Freedom party (PVV), the Free party of Austria (FPÖ) or the Italian Northern league (LN). The event is organized by the Czech Sovereignty and direct democracy (SPD) party of Tomio Okamura. Of the most notorious leaders, participation has thus far been confirmed by Marine Le Pen (FN) and Geert Wilders (PVV). It is as of yet unclear whether the leader of the Austrian FPÖ H. C. Strache, currently engaged in government-forming negotiations with the Popular party (Austrian christian democrats), will also be present.

The conference is organized by a group of around thirty people including activists from afrique-europe-interact, corasol, glokal e.V., Konzeptwerk Neue Ökonomie and others. As a group, we decide by consensus, using methods of grass roots democracy.

| 6.-8. October 2017 | Leipzig

| A conference with up to 300 people coming from different activist contexts – freedom of movement, anti-racisms, agriculture, degrowth, climate justice

| With talks, workshops, theatre, concerts, networking possibilities and several formats for exchange

What is the connection between the debate around a just design of migration and the one around an ecologically and socially just economy?

What are the connections between alternative concepts such as „Degrowth“ or „Post-Development“ and a postcolonial perspective on causes of flight?

This conference wants to focus on the links between flight, migration, self-determined development and ecological crises. We want to connect these seemingly independent topics within a broader context in order to build bridges between the different political struggles and movements.

The Internationalist Commune of Rojava

We, as internationalists from the Middle East, Asia, Africa, Europa, America and Oceania have been working in different structures of the revolution in Rojava and Northern Syria for many years. Coming from different political backgrounds, the Kurdish Movement united and inspired us with a new revolutionary perspective going far beyond the Middle East.

In the beginning of 2017 we established the Internationalist Commune of Rojava as a self-organized and self-funded collective supported by the youth movement in Rojava (YCR/YJC).

Stop Deportation – Against Isolation

Demonstration 11th June – 3:30 pm Schloßplatz

Against isolation, deportation and the austerity of freedom – against the conference of the Interior Ministers

2017 – a year characterized by debates about security and isolation. When the Interior Ministers will meet in June in Dresden, they wil discuss the intensified practice of deportations, the rise of surveillance, the further austerity of freedom in the benefit of alleged security. It is clear: For a lot of refugees this means more restriction of their rights, threats of deportation, 80-cent jobs, less freedom of movement. The dealing with political minorities are conquered by the agenda of foreign politics: Therefore the Kurds are affected by prohibitions and arrests. More authorities for surveillance are getting used and inconvenient enemies are getting pursued.

Thereby the consequences don’t just affect Germany : While goods flow freely, people are drowning in the Meditterean sea or getting victimized by violent pushback-actions at the European borders. More austerity means more dead people. Deported refugees are in fear of one’s life in their countries of origin like Marocco, Afghanistan or Pakistan. „Failed states“ like Lybia, Egypth, where human rights are off worth, receive milions to arest refugees on their way to Europe,.

Therefore we will take the streets before the conference takes place from the 12th to the 14th of June. Against deportations, against isolation, against the austerity of our all’s freedom. We ask you to take the streets together with us and show that the human dignity can not be questioned by their origin or beliefs.

The empty promise of “integration” Work and employment opportunities for asylum (Arbeitsgelegenheiten Asyl (AGH-Asyl))

Prior to the conference „Do it yourself – Concepts of grassroots organization, community organizing and autonomy“, the Internationalist Centre Dresden analyzises the new „job opportunities for asylum“ (80 cents jobs for refugees) and comes to the conclusion, that there is a necessity of a mutual organization of refugees and unemployed, to escape the exclusion of society resulted by the work fetishism.

„A twenty-first-century left must seek to combat the centrality of work to contemporary life. In the end, our choice is between glorifying work and the working class or abolishing them both. […] Yet the latter is the only true postcapitalist position.“

(Nick Srnicek and Alex Williams, extracts from Inventing the Future: Postcapitalism and a World Without Work)

Recent protests and repressions in Belarus

An event by ABC Dresden

February and March have marked one of the most active protest period in the recent history of Belarus. Thousands of people were protesting not only against the infamous unemployment tax but against dictatorship of Lukashenko. People in the cities all around Belarus have organized their local gatherings and planning further steps in their struggle. Anarchists played an important role in those protests in several places. Reaction from the state followed – hundreds of people arrested and sentenced to short term arrests of 10-15 days, several are now prosecuted for planning riots.

Demonstration for the preservation of the social center Klinika in Prague

We share the call of our friends from Prague:

Don’t ruin Klinika, don’t ruin our city!

If nothing changes, Klinika will likely get evicted in summer. We can turn the tide – come on 9th of April on demonstration for Klinika!

Klinika still vibrates from such relations, meetings and events that find themselves trampled upon and exiled out of sight in the rest of the city. An abandoned, decaying home, collectively rebuild, open for sharing of our experiences and knowledge, alternative culture and the organization of radical politics, both of which don’t back away before the brownish authoritarian swoosh around us.

Stop deportations. To Afghanistan or elsewehre!

antiabschiebedemo_17-12

In recent years, a great number of people from insecure countries have sought asylum in Germany. However, the German government decided, in dubious cooperation with these countries, to send many of asylum seekers back. It won’t matter whether you have fled Afghanistan, Morocco, Syria, Tunisia, Nigeria, Pakistan, Iraq or any other oppressing government. The German government has always tried to show that most of those countries are safe and secure places. In these countries, thousands of people are killed and lots of incidents of human rights violation take place on a daily basis. We left our insecure countries just to find a safer place on Earth to live. Your humanitarian support could be a guarantee for us to have a peaceful life, therefore we ask you to take to the streets, together with us. Against a deportation policy of violence. For a joint living in safety and freedom.

From Dresden to Aleppo – our solidarity against their war!

Rally at Albertplatz 6pm

streikStatement by Internationalist Center about the hunger strike going on:

Today, people in different cities are taking the streets in order to show solidarity with the people affected by the war in Syria and in remembrance of the thousands of dead people in Aleppo. The alliance “Actions4Syria” is calling for actions via Facebook.

Some young people from Syria support the hunger strike of a young Syrian woman. They are protesting against the bombing of Aleppo and demand the immediate stop of combat operations. They want to call attention to the bombings and the war going on since 2011. Their protest is not only against the „bloodshed in Syria, the bombings of civilians and silent global publicity“. Furthermore the restrictive regulations for the reunification of families and the excruciating EU-Turkey-Deal should be mentioned.

Since five years different parties are rageing through Syria in order to enforce their interests. Russia, the Syrian dictator Assad, Daesh, the USA, Erdogan, Iran, the Hezbollah and a multitude of warlords. More than 470.000 people had been killed since the beginning of the war. At the same time we want to stress out the point the approach of the Assad regime which bombs out Syrian cities despite the world witnesses this actions. Meanwhile Russia is using the war as a laboratory to try out outlawed actions against civilians. Already a survey from the past year of Syrian refugees about their reasons to flee showed that 70% hold the course of action of the Gouverment by Bashar al-Assad responsible for their flight.
