Report about Eidomeni (24th of December 2015)

On 24th of December we arrived at Thessaloniki. We stayed at the Nikis Squat of the antiauthoritarian platform Alpha Kappa (Αντιεξουσιαστική κίνηση, Antieksousiastiki Kinisi, Antiauthoritarian Movement) and instantly met three people of the Dresden Balkan Konvoi. They told us, that they had been given a storage place for the aid supplies in the occupied factory Vio.Me. After a short break we went to the GreekMacedonian border at Eidomeni, to get an impression aboutthe situation.  Some of our group were on site in the summer already.

Call for Help for Macedonia

Current situation / Our experiences in Macedonia (by Open Borders Crew):

As the Greek/Macedonian border at Idomeni was closed several weeks ago for all refugees that are not from Syria, Afghanistan and Iraq, many refugees from other countries got stuck in Greece. They are now forced to cross the border illegally in the mountains and in the forests and walk through Macedonia for 5-7 days to Serbia by feet and from there continue to Europe.

Support illegalized refugees – REALLY IMPORTANT!

In Remembrance of Oury Jalloh

Oury Jalloh – Murder was the case in Dessau!

Together with the Kosmotique we call to take part in the demonstration in remembrance of Oury Jalloh organized by the group “Initative Oury Jalloh”. There will be a bus going from Dresden to Dessau and back. Meetingpoint for the bus is 11 a.m. at Großenhainer Platz (St. Petri Kirche) in Dresden. The demonstartion will start at 2 p.m. at the mainstation in Dessau-Roßlau.
