Stop deportations. To Afghanistan or elsewehre!

antiabschiebedemo_17-12

In recent years, a great number of people from insecure countries have sought asylum in Germany. However, the German government decided, in dubious cooperation with these countries, to send many of asylum seekers back. It won’t matter whether you have fled Afghanistan, Morocco, Syria, Tunisia, Nigeria, Pakistan, Iraq or any other oppressing government. The German government has always tried to show that most of those countries are safe and secure places. In these countries, thousands of people are killed and lots of incidents of human rights violation take place on a daily basis. We left our insecure countries just to find a safer place on Earth to live. Your humanitarian support could be a guarantee for us to have a peaceful life, therefore we ask you to take to the streets, together with us. Against a deportation policy of violence. For a joint living in safety and freedom.

Pictures of the destroyed Orfanotrofeio

On Wednesday the 27th of July three self-organized projects from Refugees and other activists in Thessaloniki were evicted by Cops. The eviction went along with the complete destruction of the Ofranotrofeio, a house jointly occuppied and managed by refugees and other activists. These projects were a token of political solidarity and self-organization. The Orfanotrofeio in specific was contact point for refugees, international activists and many more. The projects and his activists are our friends and comrades. You got our solidarity and support – you are not alone!

Below you see the pictures of the destroyed Orfanotrofeio. Declare your solidarity, take the streets – against the fortress and their fans.

To organize temporary flats and to cushion the costs of repression we call for donations. Please organize solidarity events. Get in contact with us if you need support: email hidden; JavaScript is required

Women*space Athens calls for solidarity!

For over six months, we have been working to establish a place where women*, queer, trans, and nonbinary people can meet and organize in a safe environment. Away from the usual male dominated spheres, this project is organized with a radical, antiracist, antipatriarchal, and queer feminist framework to fight for the liberation of women*, with and without papers.

Our project has been highly successful in bringing together many diverse women* living in Athens. We forged a community which is welcoming to migrant women*, who must not only endure the harsh realities that most migrants face, but also must navigate the specific societal oppressions that come with their gender and the intersection of their gender with their race, nationality and religion. Through self-organization, we regularly hold assemblies, events, discussions, film screenings, and moments for casual socializing. Twice we have been forced to relocate our project: one time due to manarchism and the second time by the police, directed by the logics of property and ownership. Despite this, we will continue to resist all efforts that prevent us from taking up the space in society that belongs to us.

SOLIDARITY OCCUPATION

Everyone is mostly welcome to join!

Today (07/28) at 4.30pm we occupied the office of the party DIE LINKE (the so called Wir-AG) in Dresden Neustadt. Thus, we want to declare our solidarity to our comrades and friends in Thessaloniki, Greece. Yesterday at 27th of July 5 am the greek police evicted violently several solidarity projects by and for refugees. The police is directly subordinated to ministry of internal affairs, governd by current ruling SYRIZA-Party. In turn, SYRIZA and DIE LINKE are related to eachother.

IZ goes NBC

transpi-Milano_5_smallerer

Since 07/11 the Internationalist Center Dresden is on the way to the No-Border-Camp (NBC) in Thessaloniki. Starting from Frankfurt/Main we’ll go via Milan and Ancona to Greece where on 07/15 the NBC will start. Through the Group “AusserKontrolle” (Out of controll) we were part of the prepetation assembly. At the place we’ll get  activly involved in the creation and set up off the camp via the antikapitalist and antiauthoritorian plattform “Beyond Europe”.

At the NBC, hundreds of people come together to share the experiences that have been made over the last months in particular since the “Summer of Migration”. All over Euope and beyond there are Networks of Solidarity thatl strengthen themselves and fight together against boarder fences, isolation and nationalism. Together they are a transnational movement looking for joint strategies to open up free spaces in order to crack and abolish the European boarder regime. In opposition to a selective Europe and the developments of the last summer, the No Border Camp stands for a further moment of solidarity and the struggle for the freedom of movement. At the camp, common spaces, sharing knowledge and direct actions will be set up to strengthen the movement further.

We share the ideas of the No Border Camp and consider it as a chance to continue working on issues we’ve been dealing with since our “delegation tour” to Greece past winter. Once again, we will get engaged in the current situation of refugees, particularly in Thessaloniki, and report it back to you. Since our tour, we have been intensively dealing with the appropriation and shaping of autonomous spaces. In the city itself, Orfanotrofio, a house squatted by both refugees and other activists as well as the social center Micropolis are examples for diverse solidary networks and self-managed spaces. Furthermore, we want to deepen the networks we’ve been build up so far and looking to set up new ones. Again its suppose to be focussed on the self-organised projects by refugees and activists of the antiauthoritarian space. Following our journey in January, we organised Soli-Parties, wrote articles for the antiracist zine ZAG and antifacist zine AIB (will be published in the next edition), did lectures, shared messages of solidarity and were part of the European-wide Actionday for “Solidarity without Limits” on February 2nd 2016.

With the intension to connect  glocal – global and local – fights of emancipatory manner, we are currently working on the idea of “social centers for all”. So far, we’ve been researching practices and possibilies of social centers nationwide to bring up the idea of building a center such in the city of Dresden. In Thessaloniki, we want to take the chance to deepen our engagements with such projects, update our knowledge and looking for common strategies. Therefore, we will discuss these topics with comrades from Italy, Greece and Germany. We will keep you updated on that issue and report – at the latest – in a workshop we will hold at the Rudolfstraßenfest (3/09/16, Rudolfstraße, 01097 Dresden) to discuss our newly gained knowledge with you. Lookoing on the named practices, we are still working on a paper for an antiauthoritarian internationalism that hopefully will be published in September 2016.

Convoy to No Border Camp

autocadeConvoy of Solidarity from Frankfurt/Main [Germany] via Italy to

Thessaloniki [Greece]

Fortress Europe starts here. We already want to politicise the journey to the No Border-Camp in Thessaloniki and therefore we will organise a convoy from Frankfurt am Main, Germany via Milano and Ancona, Italy to Thessaloniki. Together with Italian groups and collectives we are planning different antiracist actions and stops in Italy. We then take the ferry from Ancona to Igoumenitsa, Greece.
